Join us on Saturday, June 11th, 2011, as we celebrate the Boat Drags & Car Show. This special event will start
Friday night in Jewell as the town celebrates their annual Jewell Jubilee activities with a Main Street BBQ Dinner, street dancing,
Beer Garden & live band.
And then on Saturday, be sure to come early to Little Wall Lake (3 miles south of Jewell on HWY 69), to enjoy the boat racing and car show. Racing starts at noon! There will be great food, classic rock music, BBQ, fireworks.. Great Fun!
A crowd of 3,000 spectators is expected, with some being bussed in from Des Moines and Omaha. Nationally recognized Barbeque cook Moe Cason, who was recently featured on the TLC Channel, will prepare his award-winning fares for the public to enjoy.
The UMPBA (Upper Midwest Power Boat Association) is looking forward to working with the community and is prepared to "give back" for local projects.
