This year's celebration will have something for everyone! In addition to the activities going on in town, there will also be Boat Drags and Car Show at Little Wall Lake (3 miles south of Jewell). Fun, food, music -- lots to do!

Ways to Enter

• download Entry Form or pick one up at Julie's Designs (723 Main St.)
• mail completed entry form to Jewell 5k Run c/o Julie's Designs, 723 Main St., Jewell, IA 50130
• email entry information here and pay entry fee the day of the race
• Enter on race day at the race booth near the starting line (registration will be open from 4:00-5:30 p.m.)

The $18 entry fee includes a race t-shirt, drinks after the race and a meal ticket to the 'all-you-can-eat BBQ' on Main Street. What a deal! Please make checks payable to "The Shed".

Kids races will start after the 5K is over, approximately 6:45 p.m. Parent can bring their child(ren) to the registration table to enter them in their age group. There is NO charge for this race. The races will be for kids ges 3-10 years old with the race divisions being 3-4 year-olds, 5-6 year-olds, 7-8 year-olds, 9-10 year-olds.





This year the Main Street Barbeque will be held on Friday, June 10th, from 5:00 8:00 p.m. Jewell's Main Street will be blocked off and picnic tables will be setup in the parking area. There's always a big crowd so if you can bring your own seating, please do!

The menu is turkey, pork, or beef sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, fresh fruit, and a drink.

Prices for this All-You-Can-Eat BBQ: Adults $7.00, children 6-12 $3.00, and children under 6 are free. The Boy Scouts will be serving pop and collecting the empty cans.

In case of rain, we will move to the South Hamilton High School cafeteria.

Tickets can be purchased at First American Bank, Family Pharmacy, or at the barbeque.
