Hamilton Hospital - Jewell Clinic
Hamilton Hospital Jewell Clinic began servicing the community several years ago. It is currently staffed by Julia Egli PA-C, Mary Kay Rash - Medical Assistant, Radiographer, and Laboratory Technician, and Virginia Carter who serves as receptionist.
The clinic has done very well over the past several years and continues to grow. Patients are able to seek a variety of services through the clinic ranging from preventative health care needs to urgent and emergent health care services.
Equipment and services available at the clinic are routinely updated to keep current with changing technology. In addition to the clinic's on-site laboratory and x-ray services, the clinic has state-of-the-art lab equipment able to give results within minutes for cholesterol panels and blood thinning tests. The clinic also has special testing devices to measure pressure within the ear and lung volume.
Mary Kay Rash is also certified to provide alcohol and drug screening services. This would include DOT and private company employment exams, drug screens, and alcohol screening tests.

Family Pharmacy began operation in 1978. Owners Fred and Ann Marcalus, along with their daughter Carolyn, are pharmacists and
operate pharmacies in Jewell, Stratford, and Dayton, Iowa. These businesses are typical small-town retail operations.
Knowing their customers and meeting their needs with personal service is their primary goal.
Merchandise and services include a full line of brandname and generic pharmaceuticals, Hallmark greeting cards, Russell Stover candies, over-the-counter medication, and gifts. Services include free delivery.
