July 30, 2010 - Buick Club of America is coming to Jewell!
On Friday night, July 30th, starting at 5:00 p.m., the National Buick Club of America (over 120 cars!) is coming to Jewell as part
of their national car show.
Food will be served and includes sweet corn, turkey tenders, pork burgers with bacon, fruit, chips, pop or water.
The cost is $8 for adults, $6 for children 6-12, and children under 6 eat free. A dessert by Grandma J's Cafe will be available for a nominal fee as well.
Several bands will be performing: Surflinks -- Iowa's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Band, plus Planetpassengers -- the "Buzz" Band of the Year. Dancing in the streets, fun! Musical entertainment lasts until 9:30 p.m.
There will also be shopping available on Main Street.
People and old Buicks from all over North America will be coming through town. Fun for all ages!

In case of rain the meal will be served in the new AgForce building just off of Main Street. The bands will play in the Jewell Fire-Rescue station.
